Eye Tone

Eye Tone is a mechanical and therapeutic solidifier that uses squalane from the olive fruit. It absorbs like a serum, delivering botanicals and active ingredients that hydrate, strengthen, and tone the delicate structural tissue around the eyes. Eye Tone helps rebuild tissue by reducing puffiness and dark circles, revising wrinkles and fine lines, and hydrating and softening the epidermis.

Acetyl Hexapeptide-8

Also known as Argireline. This peptide has been touted as the topical alternative to BOTOX®. Like BOTOX®, Argireline temporarily blocks the release of neurotransmitters that cause muscle contractions. Argireline helps restore tissues and increases hydration levels with its water-binding properties.

Squalane

A saturated fatty acid and a natural component of sebum. Squalane is antioxidant, hydrating, emollient, and helps restore skin lipids. The stabilized form of squalene.

Ascorbyl Glucoside

Ascorbic acid and glucose create this stable, gentle form of vitamin C, which easily permeates the skin and breaks down into bioadaptable ascorbic acid. Ascorbyl Glucoside is antioxidant, skin-brightening, and collagen-stimulating, reducing the signs of aging while improving the quality and strength of delicate tissues.

Hyaluronic Acid (HA)

A glycosaminoglycan (GAG) and polysaccharide part of the intercellular matrix. HA is ahygroscopic molecule that permeates the skin and draws in water to replenish and maintain hydration levels. HA improves elasticity and forms a topical film that plumps and softens fine lines and wrinkles.

Taurine

beta-amino acid that is naturally found in the body. It has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and immune-regulating properties. Taurine accumulation in the skin protects keratinocytes from photodamage and resulting cell death. It also acts as an osmolyte (an organic compound that influences biological fluids) that can increase keratinocyte hydration, even when surrounding areas have diminished water levels.

Carthamus Tinctorius Seed Oil (Safflower)

An oil with concentrated linoleic acid, which is a structural component of cell membranes and maintains epidermal water levels. It is lightweight, easily absorbed, anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and a melanin inhibitor. With its high vitamin E content, safflower reduces the signs of photoaging and oxidative stress while softening and providing skin conditioning and lubricating properties.

Beta-glucan

Beta-glucan is a hydrating polysaccharide that nourishes Langerhans cells. It is an immune-boosting active chemical extracted from the cell walls of certain yeasts. On its own, beta-glucan is a film-forming humectant and anti-inflammatory ingredient that protects from UV-induced erythema and environmental damage. However, when utilized by the Langerhans cells, beta-glucan reinforces the skin's immune function and strengthens the defense system and response capabilities. It also aids wound healing, repairs signs of extrinsic aging, hydrates, maintains cell health, and restores barrier function.

Hippophae Rhamnoides Oil (Sea Buckthorn)

Sea buckthorn contains nearly 200 biocompatible phytochemicals, including omega-7, a lipid naturally found in the skin. It also contains gamma-linoleic acid (GLA), an omega-6 fatty acid. When combined, these two fatty acids work to nourish, regenerate, repair, slow aging, and reduce TEWL and inflammation. GLA improves blood flow and oxygenation, and is a component of the intercellular lipids found in the epidermis and phospholipids of cell membranes.

Centella Asiatica Leaf Extract (Gotu Kola)

Gotu kola is an herb in the parsley family that contains amino acids and madecassoside, a wound-healing antioxidant. This herbal extract improves texture, fights inflammation, counteracts glycation, and promotes fibroblast proliferation and collagen synthesis.

Titanium Dioxide

A gentle antibacterial mineral-based thickener. It protects from UVA and UVB exposure and has been used to dress wounds due to its low irritation potential.

Zine Oxide

An anti-inflammatory mineral used in the body for protein synthesis, immune system support, and enzyme function. It is used topically to treat acne, rosacea, wounds, eczema, and other inflammatory skin conditions. Zinc Oxide is astringent, antimicrobial, reduces sebum levels, and protects as a broad-spectrum UVA and UVB filter and sunscreen agent.

Beta-carotene

A carotenoid stored in the skin and a precursor to vitamin A. Beta-carotene protects from environmental, oxidative, and UV-induced damage, inhibiting immunosuppression and erythema caused by UV exposure. Beta-carotene also protects collagen and linoleic acid in cell membranes from damage caused by ROS.

Curcuma Longa Root Extract (Curcumin)

Curcumin is derived from turmeric. This phytonutrient is antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antiviral, antibacterial, and antifungal. In addition, it exhibits wound healing benefits, from decreased healing time to increased fibroblast and vascular density. Curcumin reduces the signs of aging and pigmentation by increasing collagen and inhibiting melanin synthesis.

1. Cleanse skin and apply drops, serums, oils, and sprays as directed.
2. Disense 2 pumps of Eye Tone onto fingertips and dab onto the neck and eye area.
3. Mist with Herb & Mineral and use tapotement or gently press into the skin until absorbed.
4. During the day, apply a DMK Sunscreen as the final step.

Prescribe for clients exhibiting early signs of aging around the eyes and neck, as well as puffiness and dark circles.
