Key ingredients
Zine Oxide
An anti-inflammatory mineral used in the body for protein synthesis, immune system support, and enzyme function. It is used topically to treat acne, rosacea, wounds, eczema, and other inflammatory skin conditions. Zinc Oxide is astringent, antimicrobial, reduces sebum levels, and protects as a broad-spectrum UVA and UVB filter and sunscreen agent.
Picea Mariana Bark Extract (Black Spruce)
Black Spruce bark contains concentrations of several biocompatible polyphenols and compounds with skin-protecting, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties. The most concentrated is trans-resveratral, which scavenges free radicals and defends the skin against environmental stress and UV damage.
Acetyl Hexapeptide-1
This peptide promotes melanin synthesis, provides natural photoprotection, and modulates inflammation. It is used in sunless tanning formulas as it gives the skin a more even appearance while protecting the cells’ DNA from UV damage, free radicals, and photoaging.
Polygonum Aviculare Extract (Knotgrass)
Knotgrass prevents photodamage from UV and infrared radiation. This ingredient is rich in flavonoids, anti-inflammatory, slows premature aging, softens wrinkles, increases firmness and elasticity, and inhibits MMP activation.
How to use
- Apply generously 15 minutes before sun exposure.
- Reapply: After 80 minutes of swimming or sweating. Immediately after towel drying. At least every 2 hours.

Why do I need SPF every day?
UV radiation is present year-round, even on cloudy days, and is the primary cause of premature skin ageing, dark spots, and skin cancer. Daily SPF protects your skin and preserves the results of your other skincare products. SPF 30 is the minimum; SPF 50 is recommended for extended exposure.
Can I use this sunscreen under makeup?
Yes, most modern sunscreens are formulated to sit well under makeup. Allow 2-3 minutes for the SPF to set before applying foundation. Mineral (zinc-based) sunscreens tend to provide a smoother base, while chemical sunscreens absorb fully into the skin.
