Acu Therm addresses those swollen impacted pores that feel like cysts beneath the skin. This unique salve-like gel is full of herbal oils and extracts that create pseudo heat to help “melt” away the waxy plug responsible for the backup. In doing so, fluids begin to flow naturally, avoiding the conditions conducive for acne bacteria to thrive.
Build your routine with DMK — pair this with other moisturizers targeting acne & oily skin.
Acu Therm is a viscous gel designed to spot treat papules, pustules, and blemishes. It creates a localized pseudo-heat that flushes the tissue, hydrolyzes waxy sebum plugs, and draws material trapped within pores to the surface. Acu Therm helps purify and clear deep congestion and speeds up healing of active acne lesions.
Eugenia Caryophyllus Flower Oil (Clove)
An antimicrobial ingredient with broad-spectrum antifungal and antibacterial properties. Clove is also permeating, antiinflammatory, analgesic, antioxidant, antiviral, and free radical scavenging. It can aid the signaling pathways related to inflammation and tissue remodeling.
Cinnamomum Cassia Leaf Oil (Cinnamon)
Cinnamon is a rubefacient botanical that increases vasodilation, opening circulatory pathways and oxygenating the skin. Itis antibacterial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antifungal, and antiparasitic; it can also firm the skin, strengthen connective tissue, and minimize the appearance of cellulite. Cinnamon is one of the world’s oldest spices and medicines. In clients with rosacea, cinnamon acts as an antiparasitic agent effective against the proliferation of both Demodex folliculorum and Demodex brevis skin mites.
Capsicum Frutescens Fruit Extract (Cayenne)
Contains the phytochemical capsaicin, which stimulates circulation and increases vasodilation. When used topically, cayenne can relieve pain, act as an effective antimicrobial, and inhibit the formation of biofilms.
Angelica Polymorph Sinensis Extract (Dong Quai)
Promotes circulation and blood flow, reduces inflammation, and downregulates tyrosinase to reduce melanin formation. Dong Quai also speeds wound healing.

How do I use Acu Therm?
Apply a pea-sized amount to face and neck after serums have fully absorbed. Use upward, outward motions. Suitable for morning and evening use.
Will this cause purging or breakouts?
Products with active ingredients like retinol, AHAs, or BHAs may cause a temporary purging phase as they accelerate cell turnover. This typically lasts 4-6 weeks and differs from a breakout — purging occurs in areas where you normally get spots and resolves on its own.
Why are some DMK products only available in-salon?
DMK's enzyme-based treatments are designed to work at a professional level, requiring proper skin assessment and application guidance from a trained therapist. This ensures safe, effective results — particularly for complex concerns like acne scarring, pigmentation, and skin revision. Contact us to book a consultation.
How often should I use this cream?
Use twice daily as the final step of your routine (before SPF in the morning). Your skin may need a richer formula at night.
